Students in the village of Octyabrskiy in southern Russian Krasnodar region started the new academic year in the renovated secondary school № 30.

The building was fully revamped under a programme of social and economic development of the villages implemented by the Oleg Deripaska “Volnoe Delo” Foundation, Southern Russia’s Economic Development Fund and the administration of the Ust-Labinsk district.

The new school comprises four classrooms for primary education with a capacity of 28 pupils, three preschool classrooms for 34 pupils. The building is fully furnished, has modern educational amenities and cutting-edge security and fire alarm systems. The school’s territory boasts new asphalt pavements, green space as well as new fences.

Apart from the school’s building, the gym and the canteen are being modernized as well.
