Science
Support for Russian science is one of the main priorities of Volnoe Delo. Among the projects are support of fundamental research activities and promising scientists and research teams, development of research centres infrastructure.
The Foundation supports further fundamental and applied research of both young and well-known Russian scientists. Today the Foundation creates the conditions for development of modern science and best scientific staff of Russia.
OUR FOUNDATION ANNUALLY:
- invests in grant programmes for scientific researchers working in Russian Academy of Science and Moscow State University
- holds annual scientific research contest for young scientists, aspirants and students of MSU
- supports prospective researchers and their participation in international exhibitions
The Foundation was awarded with the diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for the support of the MSU physicians during the largest international exhibition of inventions and innovations. Russian physicians regularly receive awards for the work, which was incorporated in the international catalogue of inventions.

The Foundation supports "Philosophy of Russia in the 20th century" educational project of the scientific foundation Schedrovitsky Institute of development. The project started in 2006. Since that time 21 biographies of Russian scientists of the second half of the 20th Century were published. The new series consists of 37 books and to be devoted to the philosophers of the first half of the 20th century. The main goal of the publications is to tell the audience about the personalities of Russian philosophy and their achievements, and also to analyze their work in the modern context.
